What is The Fairness Economy?

Serving The Community - The proposed White House Fairness Economy Initiative would address four critical economic issues: the restoration of ethical standards of business behavior, health, the devastating economic impact of the pandemic on Black people, and climate change. United By A Common Goal

To make significant progress on these priority areas, it is critical that the Administration create an inclusive and authentic "Building Back Better" program while recognizing the need to reestablish long-term standards of ethical marketplace behavior.

Impact

The Biden-Harris Administration may fail to reach their objectives if government policy remains primarily focused on accommodating businesses and investors. As we have seen with respect to policing, there are no externalities: behaviors that impact the country in the long term are imbedded in racist attitudes and practices. These impact economic growth, climate change, and, of course, racial equity.

Proper Path

We believe the Administration's prioritization of COVID-19, economic recovery, racial justice, and climate change will do much to repair the damage done by the previous Administration. This focus will also place the country on the proper path, one that is consistent with both American ideals and the Constitution. We respectfully suggest that to make significant progress in these priority areas, it is critical that the Administration create an inclusive and authentic "Building Back Better" program while recognizing the need to reestablish long-term standards of ethical marketplace behavior.
